I would like to know how I can assist my son with auto insurance, we live in Jersey City, New Jersey NJ, he lives in a separate household, but just cannot afford auto insurance right now, he has his own motor vehicle, any suggestion?

Insurance providers differ on if they will permit you to insure motor vehicles from more than one household. Some will allow and some will not allow this so the best thing to do is to call your current insurance agent or company and find out what they suggest. If nothing else it might be possible for your son to obtain his own insurance policy and you can assist him pay for it.
